TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Sharpening Copenhagen is a sole proprietorship with Danish commercial register code 442 38 136, owned and operated by Øystein Sandve. Sharpening Copenhagen is often written as “SHARPENING CPH” in logos, social media and other marketing purposes.
Sharpening Copenhagen is the supplier, and is specified as “we”, “us”, and “our”. The customer will be referred to as “you” and “your”.
Sharpening Copenhagen will:
- sell used and/or older kitchen knives which have been restored;
- sell custom sayas and handles for kitchen knives;
- provide knife repairs and sharpenings for private individuals and restaurants in Denmark;
- arrange knife sharpening courses in Denmark and Norway.
Prices
All prices for knives and other products are specified in euros (€).
For knife sharpening services within Denmark, the customer will receive an invoice in DKK.
We accept payments via VISA, Paypal and Vipps/MobilePay. We reserve the right regarding price errors and sold-out/discontinued items.
Delivering
We send packages once a week. GLS is our preferred parcel operator within Denmark and most countries in Europe.
For other international packages, we use a suitable operator. The customer receiving the package is responsible for any extra costs and custom fees.
Right of withdrawal
The customer is given full right of withdrawal of 14 days on products from the webshop, www.sharpeningcph.dk. To use your right, please send notice to our email address: mail@sharpeningcph.dk.
If you do not send notification stating your right of withdrawal before returning the package, your payment will not be refunded.
There is no right of withdrawal on custom orders, like customized handles, saya and other repair work, as they are made to only fit your tools. However, if you’re not satisified, please get in touch with us to make another arrangement.
Returns
In case of returning your product, the package must be dispatched no later than 14 days after receiving. The customer is responsible for the return cost. The item must also be properly packed, and sent to our address:

The customer is responsible to wrap and pack the parcel properly, keeping the item safe under delivery. The customer bears the risk until we have received the product. We keep the right of not refunding returned products, if it has obvious stains and/or scratches from use or harm due to improper packaging.
